Dear All,
First of all my heartiest congrats for all those who have got progress on their applications and wish you all the best and joyful life.

Mr. Engineer,
I hope you are doing well and the life is smooth and we pray for your recent difficulties which you had in your factory.

I'm used to be a silent reader of the forum but recently really lost my hope since its almost 1 year which we have done our medicals but no PPR yet.

LVO hasn't answered even one out of 4 CSEs which our consultant has been sent. Actually I dont believe our layer consultant, damn them whenever they got their money they don't know you anymore.

Question - My husband's, spouse, security file sent to third part for BGC process. I want to know normally how long this process will take time? He is from Iran.

Please guide me.

Love you all.

Have you tried to contact the LVO directly?

It can't hurt to send them a CSE. You should mention that you have waited a year since your medical.

Surely this is an exceptional case as most people will hear a response within 4 months.

Hope your wait ends soon.

@Fazal_81,
after in Process, your UDR is due, I hope soon they will send u UDR. did u got GCMS or not yet? Nekeol

Well Look like majority of applicant files are stuck with background checks.

It's been noticed that the time taken for background check by LVO is different for each one and it could be 3 to 12 months, depends on case and correctly filled Schedule A form (in personal history section there should be no Gaps)

Otherwise applicant has to fill it again and wait another 4 months for Visa officer to review it (it happened with me :() once VO find it acceptable, file will move to next step i.e. background check => means security & criminality check.

Generally on CSE inquiry LVO, states that:

1) Your Background checks are outstanding and these may take several months to complete.
We will advise further when in a position to do so.

2) Please be advised that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We will be in contact with further information once these checks are complete.

3) Please be advised that we are awaiting the results of routine background enquiries. Your continued patience is appreciated.

4) Please be advised that the file in question is still undergoing background checks. We can not give you any timeframe for the BGC, we will be in contact when there have been further developments with the processing of the file.

5) We await completion of background checks and cannot estimate when these will be completed.

Guys is it true that during background checks our file is assign to another visa officer?

And what is the significance of having S.15 (1) in our GCMS notes?

Dear Nekeol,

I recieved the following email after 7 months of Medical that:

Your Background checks are outstanding and these may take several months to complete.
We will advise further when in a position to do

And my brother had an interview @ CHC, London on 15 May 2013. On 20 June 2013 he recieved email from LVO that:

Please be advised that we are awaiting the results of routine background enquiries. Your continued patience is appreciated.

Is it possible that within a month they can complete background checks?

Someone said that Background checks outstanding means that they have not yet started....

NEKEOL,

I have found total three S.15 (1) in my GCMS notes under PAPER FILE TRANSFER HISTORY & NOTES Section.

What they are trying to hide here?

My GCMS notes consist of 45 pages

UDR = updated document Request :o

after starting in process they should ask you to provide UDR for starting BGC and medical.

one additional NEWS, now LVO has transferred some applications to Abu Dhabi, possible ur file is in Abu Dhabi but not sure.

I have done medical 2nd week of dec 2012, sent CSI and received the following reply yesterday..

Thank you for your email regarding your application for permanent residence to Canada.

We are currently awaiting the results of your spouse's and dependant's medical examination results from New Delhi. We will be in contact once these have been received.

Kind regards,

DXS
Much worried why CHC new delhi didnot send my husband and daughter's medical results to LVO as it had more than six months?
