Dear Seniors
I am an Indian nationality , holding Indian passport currently residing in Qatar.
Myself, My spouse and Our 2 kids are traveling to Calgary (Canada) on 31/07/2013 via KLM Dutch Airlines passing through Amsterdam and there is 6 .45 Hrs. Aircraft transfer delay in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport .
Since we are migrating to Canada and We all have valid IMMIGRANT/ Resident CANADA VISA with expiry on 07.09.2013.
Should we required a Airport Transit Visa to Change the Aircraft in the same airport in Amsterdam? . We are not intended to visit Netherlands

Yesterday LVO sent me the above first statement

So i have to wait further 6 months...

Means till DECEMBER 2013...

OHHH i was not expecting this at this stage...

My visa officer changed from NXR to MCH and I also have received a similar reply as yours. Several months does not mean six months it could be more and less. They will only process our cases further when they have got satisfacory results of our security checks and lvo cannot do anything about it. The difference in the statement does not mean much. If they got the security checks sooner they will send you PPR rather quickly and rest of your process could be completed even eralier. It also depends on when your medical is expiring. There are some posts on the forum which say that an extension of the medical is possible upto 3 months if the decision has already been made before expiry of the medical but I am not really sure about it.

If you have recieved the same reply from MCH, its mean that our background checks are not yet commenced. But hopefully they are working on it. My Medicals will get expire in December 2013. One question why our VO changed from NXR to MCH?
