In that case you have 20 points, how can they get that wrong? If you did submit evidence of secondary, A level and diploma, they have made a mistake. You have 15 years with your 2 year dip. = 20 points.

Well i will note the points to them Trevor for clarity ( at the very least) but there is something badly amiss if they have messed up for two categories, namely Education and Work Experience. I only hope they determine that they have it wrong in at least one but there are no guarantees on this. What a mess. Possibly the most stressful thing i have gone through and i say that as a General Manager of a bar and restaurant!

My wife and i will send off a reconsideration letter on monday and we'll deal with it from there.

Thanks again guys for all your guidance, suggestions and all round goodness. Great to have so many fine people to talk to. A special mention to Mr E who has offered selfless help through PMs. A truly great guy!

Congrats now...really happy for you.

though i don't have a very good news. this morning I got a call from my consultant that i'm scheduled for an interview. When, where and why, still not confirmed. the letter was dated 23 october and it arrived via normal post. they said they will let me know within 10 months.

I'm concerned if it's London, then getting a visa for UK will be another hassle. Please pray for me.

You will be fine Inshallah.. I would encourage you to get a GCMS before interview. GCMS may help you to take preparation for interview.

Thanks Sridev... I submitted in person and it took two weeks. Yolex used the postal option so you can scan through her posts to get some idea. Roughly about the same time I guess so it doesn't worth the hassle.

I have an urgent question and will appreciate any and all input I am filling the updated family information chart. It has the option of "CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS," the mailing address is different from my residential address in my application. My question is that can I give a different mailing address in the chart from the one mentioned in my application?? Kindly reply! One more thing, the words GOVERNMENT OFFICER are written on my husband's passport, will this cause any problem, whatsoever??
