Hi Folks,

Today i have recieved Medical request from London, VO. It was sent by mail.

They have asked me to submit:

New application for permanent residence IMM0008
New Schedule background declaration form
Right of permanent residence Fees
Updated original police certificate

How long would it take to recieve Passport request?

How long is a piece of string?

Once you get all documents and medical to the LVO you can expect it to be within 1-3 months. Could be sooner, could be longer, depends if you get your winkle out or not.

Hi not sure where my name went on the list....but just thought I would let you know that we received passport requests this morning via email... :D

For anybody worrying about medicals, my husband has a heart condition and it appears to have caused no issue...

Good luck to everybody with this process xx

Not until you have the visa and/or COPR you cannot have 100% guarantee of getting through.

You have 1 year of issuing the COPR that you to land in Canada. They will then send you permanent residence card which expires in 5 years. This can be renewed as long as you have been in the country for a period of time which I can't remember but it is something like 2 or 3 years.

Sorry Ryan but this is NOT correct. :P Are you trying to fool people or is this just a genuine mistake? :P

Citation:
Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations. However, if your passport or any of your family members passports are due to expire before this date, all COPRs will expire on the date that the first passport expires. You must enter Canada on or before the expiry date on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).

Please stand corrected ;D
