I think the security checks are within a country and not individual cities. In my PCC for the UK I has to put all the addresses we lived in for the last 10 years and the certificates come with a result from the Police National Computer "No Trace". The one from Peru States that is records from the National Police. I think the security checks are done with those PCCs and the time it takes may have something to do with if you can check the authenticity of the PCCs online or not.

Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong...

nope, security check is conduct to Ur PCC, if u have got UK pcc they will confirm it with ACRO and security checks are done!!

Hi Mikki,

I finally sent all docs + RPRF to LVO, should be delivery tomorrow by 1:00pm. I did not choose the drop of box in the end as the LVO mentions it's not given any preference and you have to queue outside the CIC for security check (there is a list of items you are not allowed in). Don't forget to take into account the traffic because of the Olympics....

Congratulations to having your documents delivered! Now it's waiting for the 3rd line! We decided not to bring the documents to LVO as well but send it off with special delivery by the royal mail. Did you send it off by courier or by special delivery with royal mail?

We had our medicals done today and the bank draft from NatWest arrived today in the mail. It only took 2 days! Everything is okay on the bank draft (Canadian clearing bank, etc.). We will send our documents off tomorrow so LVO should have it on Friday. The medical results should be delivered by next Tuesday the latest (that's what they said at the Knightsbridge medical practise).

Hi everybody,

We had our medicals done today! It all went very smoothly. We had the following done:

Chest x-ray
Urine test
Blood test
Eyes, ears, throat checked
Reflexes checked
Tummy examination
Spine checked
Breathing checked
Weight, height checked
Blood pressure checked

We went to Knightsbridge Clinic in London and they were very good there. They knew what to do and were very friendly. When asked they gave us information about our health and whether everything is okay. Now we just have to wait for the blood test results to come back and then they will send the results to LVO (latest by Monday).

Now the wait begins for the much anticipated 3rd line!
