FINALLY!!!!! After 14 months of waiting, by the grace of God, we have already received our passports stamped with visa and COPR! ;D ;D ;D D Visas are stamped on 29 Oct and are valid until 08-08-2013. For those applicants from UAE: PP's has reached the Canadian Embassy in UAE on 4th of November and yesterday I have been called by Aramex (courier co.) for my delivery address as they are to deliver it today (so it will take additional 3 days to reach you from the time it reached the embassy). However, due to excitement last night, I went to them directly and picked it up. LOL
We are very happy and excited for our landing on January 2013. And rest assured I will get back to you all for the landing experience. We wont be staying there for good yet, we will get back to UAE to earn more and save more to prepare for the final leap!
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most especially those people who have guided me all throughout this 14 months processing. I will forever be grateful to you guys most especially to Mr. E who has kept this thread organize, to all my friends you know who you are, you all rock!!!
Wishing you all the best! To God be the Glory!!!!
I completely buy ur point that ur consultant is a reputable guy....but his information is not accurate and incomplete.toothfairy_77 said:No, Mr. E nothing new
Anyway, I wanna discuss with the forum members the CSE and GCMS issues. Actually I had a long conversation with my Canadian consultant about them and he insisted that GCMS are only required or necessary when there is a problem in the application and since nothing yet heard from LVO, it means nothing bad or even good happened and his conclusion was it is not required to order the notes now. Actually, he's a very reputable person and I trust him as his services are not being advertised like other scum service providers (whom just milk you money and throw your papers and never follow up,,, I had a very bad experience before with one of them) and all his costumers come by reference from others who successfully completed there process and were satisfied with his services.
Another issue we discussed about is the CSE, 2 months earlier he told me that he has already scheduled to send a CSE regarding my application in October, i.e. after 6 months of PER but recently he told me that he got an email from LVO asking him ( and other consultation providing agencies) not to send CSE before 15 months!. He told me he will not follow the 15 months instruction exactly and will send the inquiry much earlier....but certainly, he did not send it in October as planned before.
Actually, I don't know the right thing to do :-\....Friends, Please share your views.
Best wishes,
+1 for youjaggy999 said:I completely buy ur point that ur consultant is a reputable guy....but his information is not accurate and incomplete.
1. GCMS are only required or necessary when there is a problem in the application
IMHO, Gcms is used to ensure that there is no communication breakdown, no procedural errors made and to see if your immigration points calculation is accurate. In fact requesting visa file records often triggers some action in the case — many people request GCMS information more than once and share their experience demonstrating that requests are often followed by officers' decisions, inquiries, checks and so on.
Communication breakdown:Once visa office sends correspondence to an applicant, then all work on the case is suspended pending applicant's response. In most cases outgoing correspondence is registered in gcms. By requesting visa file information you will see if any mail was sent to you. It will help the visa office to understand if the mail was lost/undelivered(a complete possibility).
2.Ask him to show you the email where LVO has asked to not send CSE before 15 months(do you really think LVO has the time and resources to send every consultant such an email). A CSE is only meant and sometimes useful to understand where application stands currently and the exact status.
Thanks a lot Jaggy for your view. Actually i should contact him again and try to understand what's going on!jaggy999 said:I completely buy ur point that ur consultant is a reputable guy....but his information is not accurate and incomplete.
