White boy WHAT IF at the end of the day, there is GOD and you are standing in front of him on judgement day there is going to be loads of ass whipping waiting for you for not believing in your creator lol.

I am perfectly content in taking that chance. No one can say for certain there is a heaven and anyone who does claim to know is unable to back it up with any evidence or fact. I believe they are con artists attempting to get you to believe in them so you will hand over your hard earned money to line their pockets. Your mind is your Buddha and Buddha is your mind. Why use your Buddha to believe in another Buddha.

Come on people. Surely someone has something? The best comment made so far has been by Mr P. What if you are wrong. So far you have confirmed my belief in the fact that, no one who has belief can back it up with evidence.

I think the point is that those who believe in God can't prove it but in their hearts they know he or she exists. Those who want proof are within their rights to look for evidence.

One thing i do know is that God does not check into LVO very often. Many righteous people on here still waiting. Christian, Jew, Muslim, Agnostic and Atheist are all in the same boat my friends. Amen to that. :(

Never heard of the diminishing theory my friend. :o. Do you have personal experience. Perhaps you should share your pain with the board?

I have a question regarding police certificates and affidavits. I hope somebody can help.

I was wondering whether I have to send police certificates that are not in English or French together with an affidavit or is it sufficient to send them together with a translation by an accredited translator?

I checked the instruction guide from the application pack and I am confused. ???

Under section "Police Certificates" it states the following:

"If a certificate is not in English or French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator".

But when I looked under section "Translation of Documents" it states this:

"Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document."

So under "Police Certificates" it says it only has to be an accredited translator and under "Translation of Documents" it says that any document has to be accompanied by an affidavit. This is a big difference as the affidavit is a document where the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. And it is very expensive here in the UK. :(

All you guys, who had a request for updated PCCs, which were not in English or French, did you send an affidavit with it or not?

I'll appreciate any help or clarifiaction as I am really confused.
