Dear forum members,
I have an update to share.
Like a few MI-2 applicants, I received a peculiar message in my ECAS, despite being an MI-3 applicant.
After clicking on the in-process link, i see the following statements inside:
"We received your application for permanent residence on July 5, 2011."
"We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 8, 2011 to ***********************(address censored). Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us."
Unfortunately, the address as it reappeared on my ecas, as well as the address listed in the statement above were both incorrect.
On Friday, I sent the LVO a CSE requesting them to change these mistakes (it is worth noting that I have sent two previous CSEs regarding the same issue).
A few hours ago, I received an email from LVO requesting me to verify my correct address.
This is a break from the usual response they send which states that the address has been corrected on record however ECAS may not reflect the changes made. As I write this my address as it appears on ECAS is still incorrect.
Something is definately happeneing at the LVO. Lets just hope they aren't verifying my address to send me a rejection letter
