Lung mass in X Ray

Ok...now things got a little interesting for me. I completed my medical and DMP found lung mass in my XRay. He asked me to do a lateral view and confirmed it's a lung mass. He said he will submit tge results to CIC and we will wait for further instructions.

Question, why did my DMP decide to upload the results? I might get rejected. Should I not go through further tedting so he can clear me and include it in his report?

Sorry chonji, I don't know the Panel Physician's protocols, but I wish you all the best as you go forward. You might try doing a google for the official CIC manuals for panel physicians for guidance on how furtherances are handled. Good luck.

My doctor actually explained that to me , sometimes they find a mass in your lungs but its nothing to worry about , it just happens to some people . They have to upload the results nonetheless , and they're gonna ask you to do another test to see if it's smthg serious or not . but i don't think you would be rejected based on that

Does the doctor tell about this right away during medicals or later?

Did you request a copy of the X-Ray for a second opinion from another doctor? I would strongly suggest you have this investigated, purely from a peace of mind point of view.

From what I read in this forum, they will most likely request a CT scan for chest.
