Luggage Restrictions

Hello Members,
I will be flying from Mumbai to Vancouver... ....My query might sound a little funny ;D ...But I thought I might as well ask it to clear doubts in my Head....
Jet airways allows 23 kg per piece(total 2 bags)..... Is 23 kg the total weight of the Bag or is it, 23kg Luggage + 4 kg of the Bag seperately..... Which Makes is around 27 kg per Piece....

If someone can please clear my doubt

It is 23 kg total including self weight of bag. Total 2 nos allowed per person.

they allow up to 200 gms or 500 gms more not to worry.but if u r she then carry ur big purse along with one low weight handy bag n if u r carrying laptop bag then laptop bag n handy both should be of 8 kgs only along with self weight of bag
