LTO Certification with Red Ribbon

Hello!

I just want to clarify, since we have plans of getting a driver's license in Canada, is it really necessary to get LTO certification with Red Ribbon even if we just started driving? We started driving just this year, less than a year, because I am actually thinking that MAYBE Canada will not consider the certification as we don't have over 2 years of experience in driving..

Any inputs?

You only need the LTO certification if you are claiming over 2 years of driving experience. I got mine and it includes the year I first got my license, as I want to claim over 2 years of driving and get exempted from the G1 road test in Ontario (it may differ in SK).

If you were driving for less than 2 years anyway, the original driver's license will do.
