I Was wondering if Licensed practical nurses are still on the skilled list? how long is it now taking to get an application processed and lastly how do I know how many more spaces are still available as the new system looks different and does not seem to be running a tally of applications that have been excepted in each particular skill class.

No - LPNs are not on the list this year.

Running tally for occupations that are on the list is here:

Thank you all for the information. I am a little disappointed that lpns are not on the list but are there other ways I can enter Canada now that Lpns are no longer on the list.

Yes. If you can get a job offer in Canada - then you can apply through the FSW with job offer stream.

You can also take a look at the Quebec Skilled Worker program and the Provincial Nominee programs. I believe most of these required a job offer in Canada as well.

A LPN may be qualified to be a live-in caregiver for an elderly or disabled person. The LCP program offers immigration through experience after 2 years.
