Lost PR Card while Citizenship in process

Hi guys, quick question. Just lost my PR card, should I inform CIC right away? I just sent my files last month, haven't even got AOR yet. What should I do?

Wait until you receive AOR so you can have a file number.

Thanks, what would be the next step after I have my file number? Should I inform them right away or wait till I get new card and then update the file at once?

That I'm not quite sure. I guess notify them right after doesn't hurt. The reason to have a file number before you contact them is so that they can track you in their system and note down whatever you're telling them..

Use webform and immediately inform IRCC.

File a police report and notify IRCC immediately.
Then apply for replacement PR Card if necessary

thanks guys, just one more question. Is there any way to retrieve my PR Card number, since I lost it and I didn't take any photos of the card so I have no clue, and in the Solemn Declaration section they ask for it.....
