Lost Passport, Visa and the study permit..... Please Help!!!

Hi All,

I know iv lost possibly any important document an international student can lose and im in trouble.

However iv managed to get a new passport from Indian embassy. Another disaster that happened is that i even had applied for a copy of my study permit but i guess it is lost in mail by canada post as i talked to VOS office and they said they had posted my study permit on 8th Jan 2014 from Ottawa but i haven't received it on my mail yet here in Toronto. Has any such thing happened with anyone??

Is there any option where i can go in person and collect my study permit?? im willing to travel to north pole even... if required.

Also i soon have to apply for my Co-op Work permit and i guess we need a copy of study permit with that which i dont have. Please can anyone suggest on this?

Also i need to get visa stamped on my new passport which i guess i wont be able to get it done until i dont have study permit in hand. Please can anyone suggest on this?

Also can anyone let me know if i have to get any thing stamped on my passport besides getting my Canada visa on it. As it is a new passport i got issued from Toronto.

I'm really Bogged down!! :'(

Hi,
I read your comments on the forum regarding your lost documents long back. Can you please guide me for the same? My brother's entire suitcase have been stolen.. he lost all of his credentials documents including degree certificates, birth certificates, study visa, work permit, bank documents, personal I'd everything I am really worried for him.. You must have recovered your documents now since it's been a long time u posted the issue??
