When I applied for citizenship, I uploaded my current passport and the background section of the tracker was completed a couple months ago. However....I was recently on vacation and thought I had lost my passport, which I had to replace with an emergency US passport (valid for 1 year). I now have to get an official US replacement now. I actually found my passport when I returned home, so it was never hole-punched (usually done to an expired passport by government officials). The number on it no longer works since it's been deactivated, but since it's not hole-punched, it still might be able to be used when going to my citizenship ceremony.
According to IRCC:
Now that I found my 'lost' passport, I can bring it to the ceremony. But to be safe should I send IRCC an email explaining that I now have an emergency passport + the new official replacement?
