I misplaced my passport and landing paper while I was moving!
I unpacked and looked everywhere but I just couldn't find it.
All I have right now are my driver's license, invitation to the oath, health card, and an expired PR card.
My invitation was sent on April 17th and my oath is on May 1st so I can't even delay the oath so that I have more time to look for the documents.
I had some tough times with RQ and I finally got to go to the ceremony after 4 years of waiting but this is what happens.
I'm so frustrated because all the waiting really dried the soul out of me.
I called CIC call centre and they just told me to go to the oath anyways so the officer there can give me further instructions.
I'm a little worried that I'm screwed.
Anybody had this experience before?

atleast you got PR card.
did you try to make emergency/urgent passport of your old country.

anyway whatever happen , you still got 3 days try to find it else go as cic said with whatever you got, all the best.

Other people here can confirm this, but I don't think that they will check passport and landing paper when going for Oath.. At least that was the case for me. They will take the PR card and that's it.

Good Luck.

do not worry, they will only ask about the oath invitation and the PR. If you have a copy of the landing paper take it. if not do not mention it unless they ask for it. just tell them i lost it. i am pretty sure they will not ask about anything but the PR and the invitation. good luck :)

I just had my oath today. In my case, they only checked my PR card, Invitation, and a picture ID (Drivers' license).
