Right on! I'm happy to hear it everyone! :D

Spreadsheet has been updated!!

We've been stalking the tracking portion of usps online haha. So far nothing, but we'll keep checking it! :)

Houston, the eagle has LANDED!!! Today my wife officially became a Permanent Resident of Canada! Celebrating by taking my beautiful bride to the National Arts Center tonight to see Pride and Prejudice! Yes fellas, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! :D Especially happy because our first child is due three weeks from today, on Christmas Day, in fact! So good to have the PR taken care of before her arrival!

I'll just say here that I'm not sure how it is my wife was processed entirely in Ottawa, her CoPR as well, when we'd been told it would be processed in LA, but I can tell you this...Yahooooo for Ottawa, that was SOME turnaround!!

Congratulations! There is nothing sweeter than having that pretty immigrant stamp in the passport and the executed COPR.

Hi,
Wondering anybody with LA the Ecas is showing In Process with "We Started Processing on (a Date)" right now? Ours shows In Process with We Started Processing on xx xx 2012(Date).
We know Ecas is not always accurate. If all fees are paid, medical is received & no additional documents requested, when can we expect PPR?

Nothing feels better than holding those sweet legal sized documents in your hand realizing that it's almost over. It's been almost two months for me now and I'm STILL so happy its over!

Finally... I got my PPR last night! 11 months and 1 day since CIC received my application.
Congratulations!!! :) :P :-*
Finally someone from the Buffalo closure nightmare came through. I went over your old Buffalo posts saw you went In Process and Medical Received on April 23, 2012. Wondering if your Ecas went In Process again with a date from LA?
Our application was transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa on July 07, 2012(2011 applicant). It went In Process in LA last week.

My Ecas has not been updated and I never received notification that my application was sent to LA. Of course I never even recieved notification that my husband was approved as a sponsor! I think it's a good sign that your Ecas was updated. You should be hearing something soon!

Thank you!!!! I agree, maybe I will frame mine!! :) Thanks so much to you and everyone else on here that has been helpful and encouraging throughout this whole process. NO ONE knows what this process is like unless they have gone through it themselves. I am considering myself to be very very very lucky that I didnt have to go through any interviews, denials or appeals. I am very thankful.

I'll be landing in a day or so and I couldn't be happier. I hope everyone gets some good news right in time for the Holidays! :) :) :)

Awesome, happylaw!! It does feel terrific, doesn't it?!! My wife landed two days ago, what a relief!!
