Our package with the proof of our intent to reside in Canada was received by CIC LA yesterday morning! yaya

just 8 days after they requested it. I hope that shows our seriousness too!

I want movement... I hate being at a standstill i think they should approve all of us before the end of the month! uhhhh or at least put our ECAS as in process! I hope Amoss you get the approval next week so that they can go onto our files. Anybody hear about Elokpo? he is 21 days in front of me i am basing myself on him lol Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey all!

I'm jumping on the LA bandwagon, as I just got my stage 1 approval from Ottawa Pilot. I read through the last 7 pages of this thread to catch myself up.. but I'm confused about the Ottawa/LA dealio. So is my file being transferred to LA like the email says, or will it stay in Ottawa? ??? Also, when & how will we hear from CIC next? Will they let us know when/if our file has been "transferred"? I've gotten myself so familiar with stage 1 (waiting 3 long months!!) that I've realized I don't really know much about stage 2

And I guess it may be too early to tell yet since this whole Buffalo closing is still in its infancy, but would that mean that an interview would happen in LA? Oh, oh! one more question (for now). I can't seem to log into ecas but I'm guessing it's still too early? I received my AOR yesterday and approval today. I've tried both my UCI and the Application # (by the way, I got both a F and B app #). For the UCI I use my info (sponsor), and the App # is my husbands (applicant), correct?

And Parker for the spreadsheet, hubby is in Arizona

We were all told that our application would be processed in Ottawa but the COPR ( Confirmation of permanent Resident) would be issued from LA. Interview wise we think it might be ottawa but not 100% sure. Did you get the F application on the approval? Yes the app is your # is your husbands. I was able to log in the same day but for some it takes a few days. Make sure that the way they spelt the names is as you enter it.. they added a space after the Mc of his name so no wonder we could not log in. Last news we got was from Amoss and we haven't gotten any news from Elokpo yet...so who knows if they are approving anyone yet and how long the wait will be hopefully not the posted 12 months!

Welcome! I'm still trying to figure out the Ottawa/LA thing too. We found out there's a page missing and I have NO idea who to contact or send it to! *grumble* I e-mailed LA to ask.

LA is usually pretty good for responding.


And Sunshine87, from the looks of things, your file will stay in Ottawa mainly. My file appears to be in LA and being processed there but I think it's because it was sent to LA and opened JUST before the Buffalo closure. But it seems that any file that wasn't opened yet or something by LA was redirected to Ottawa.

As to hearing from CIC next... that's a mystery. We all hope soon though. The idea for opening the Ottawa office was to quicken things up, so hopefully that's true.

even I have application number starting from F
what do i do with that ?
but till now I have to log in using my hubby's UCI number.. not have mine yet

on ecas my hubby's side says decision made but my side just says application received..
what does that mean ???

BTW i am from California..(saw the spreadhsheet.. so thought to mention you that as well)

Someone asked about the form on here and I realized I didn't have it! I was VERY upset. Hubby spent a good hour calming me down haha. Hopefully I hear back from them this coming week so I can fax it!
