I fully understand. Of course, all they're going to do is say "this is within normal time frames, so there's nothing we can do." I really don't understand the queue management at CIC. From what I can tell, people whose file made it to Buffalo before the closure are really the ones bearing the brunt of the change - like the transfer backlog is in a separate queue from the new application backlog.
I do understand why our case was done expeditiously, but I admit I feel guilty watching others who waited longer than we did getting the short end of the stick. :-[
I agree with you completely about being in Buffalo before the closure. Here we were in a rush to get all of our paperwork exactly right and turned in so they could start processing and we could finally be together, then they go and close that office and it sets us back months! Honestly, there are times that I wish we would have stalled a couple months maybe by now ours would have been finished.
Don't feel guilty. I know we enjoy seeing all of the applicants getting good news. gives us hope! ;D Be proud you finally made it through.
Im sure we will here at some point too. Truely, I am happy for all of you who are with the ones you love!
Looking at the spreadsheet October has been a huge month. Lots of activity.
