I am busy looking into moving from the UK to Canada. I have worked as a lorry driver for 9 years and would be hoping to gain employment as a long haul driver. Could anyone help me with some info or the steps I need to take to find out more about this. Any help would be appreciated.

1. You have to find an employer in Canada with a LMO, the majority are in Manitoba, Sask, and Alberta, where you can apply for PR in their PNP program. There is a discussion in this form about the companies hiring.

2. A number of companies from Canada recruit in the UK.
3. If you find a job and LMO, you will have to get a class 1 license in Canada and pass the tests.
