Well it was more of a celebratory kind of thing. We wanted to have our ceremony once everything has been settled.Why? That makes little sense.. Citizenship and marriage/ceremony are not in any way linked. You are looking at nearly 4 years AFTER landing before she would be able to become a citizen.
