Looking for short term accommodation in Toronto

Hi Guys,

I will be in Canada as a new comer in January and would be looking for a short term accommodation in Toronto from 1st January to 21st January 2019. I have a family of 4 people (me, my wife, 2 children (4 and 2 years old)). Furnished apartment (1 bedroom) would be great.

Any idea about districts near uoft and downtown with good public transit networks?

Most of downtown and near U of T are on good transit networks. Look at the TTC map for the location of subway stations and streetcar routes. Streetcar routes tend to be pretty packed during rush our so less desirable than being within walking distance to a subway station.

So you mean to look on the ttc map and just book any place near to them and i will be fine,right?

Yes. If you know you are working somewhere wouldn't try and book on the other side the subway system if possible.

Make sure landlord allows sublets if that is what you are doing.
