Hello lovely people of Canada Visa & Experts!

I was an occasional lurker of this forum and recently decided to give EE FSW a try. I have started ECA process with WES and I am going to attempt IELTS in 30 days. I would be immensely indebted if you can answer a few questions for me (and a beer once I land in Canada ;)) :

1. NOC Code Selection - 2175 or 5241:
I am a UI/UX Designer. Code 2175 mentions my duties which can be corroborated by reference letters from my present & past employers. But this code doesn't have the required Job Title. On the other hand, code 5241 doesn't mention duties which I perform on job or mentioned on my ref letters however it does have "UX Designer" Job Title available on the NOC table. I am using these links Code 2175 and Code 5241 if anyone wants to check.

Question: Which code should I go with?

2. Gap Years:
I have read somewhere that an applicant have to show what they did after they turn 18. This could be details related to education or jobs.

Question: Is this true? If not then please skip details of gap years and move directly to point 3. If this is true then please proceed.

I do have 2 gaps which I am mentioning below:
a) I turned 18 on 2007 the same year I started my undergrad (for which I am not seeking ECA points as I did master's later on). I graduated in 2010 and did odd jobs for a year while waiting for my master's application to get approved.

Question: Should I mention that I did Undergrad after finishing school from 2007-2010 and a gap year in 2010-2011 in the Letter of Explanantion?

b) I started my Master's in 2011. It was a year long course and after finishing my master's in 2012, I did jobs in a different NOC for which I am not seeking employment points or adding years on employment. This went on till Feb 2015.

Question: Should I mention that I worked on different job NOC even though I am not seeking points for it? Can I skip this detail while submitting my profile?

3. Proof of Funds:
I will be getting sufficient money by dissolving my investment (I will get a signed document from the bank) and from my parents (I will get a gift deed document). I will be doing this after getting IELTS score (don't want to move around money before).

Question: Is having money (which is less than 6 month) in your account going to be a problem even though I can show the source of funds?

Thank you all for going through my post and thank you in advance for your replies. Even though you don't know answers to all, any help from your side will be highly appreciated.

Question: Which code should I go with?
The one that matches your job duties. Titles are not determinative.

There is a personal history section (after you receive an invitation to apply) in which you account for all of your time since turning 18 (or past 10 years if you are more than 28) employment, unemployment, travel, study, coma - whatever you were doing during that period.

Question: Is having money (which is less than 6 month) in your account going to be a problem even though I can show the source of funds?
When the time comes, it will have been in your account for more than 6 months.
