looking for advise SWP will have taken 12 months in january ??

i started my SWP in January 2013 and last i heard from the company was that they would be starting the LMO process (after advertising for 4 weeks) mid September start of October and still haven't heard back about the state of the LMO process is there any way i can check the status of the process directly? could anybody tell me if this time frame is normal or should i start looking for an other sponsor?

Only the employer can check on the status of the LMO. You can't.

As of now your timeline doesn't sound too unusual. LMO processing typically takes a couple of months.

Hi

I am somewhat proactive in my approach to things. If you have gotten to the point that a company agreed to follow through on the LMO process, I do not believe that you giving them a call could do any harm (unless of course you do it every day ).

Call them, I am sure it wont do any harm. I agree though it will likely take several months (3-4 is not unusual.
