looking for admission in canada colleges/universities

hi all,

need a help its very important.
i have applied for a college in canada for graduate program. i have completed my b.e(ece) in 2011 and haveing a work experience of 5+ years.
they have rejected my application stating that i cant apply as the educational gap is more than 5 years.
this was the rejection mail from the advisors in india, but the program co-ordinator mentioned that i was eligible.
so, my doubt is will it be applicable for all the colleges/universities across canada.
is there any possibility for me to get a chance to study in canada.

Have you approached the college directly given a 5 year gap is not generally the only reason to reject. Many people on this forum have longer gaps and have successfully applied as long as their overall profile is sound and purpose is convincing.

Yes actually I have approached the program coordinator and he stated that my profile is doing good to get a admission. But whereas the admission officer or senior advisor in India for this college doesn't approve my application form. They just gave me the gap and my graduate major doesn't suite for this course. I have a strong profile and experience in the course which I applied for. And also they haven't went thru my resume or SOP only by seeing my educational documents they have rejected my application
