Hi guys
I need some advice. My husband and I live in England and we both want to relocate to Canada. He is a truck driver class 1 and has several years experience. I am a Probation Officer for 5 years and currently on a year maternity leave. We have a 4 months old baby. My husband wants me to go to Canada for six months to seek work for both of us then come back to apply for a visa. He is British and I am french. We both speak English and French. He will be supporting me and baby while we are in Canada. I want to know if its worth going there to seek work. As a probation officer can I apply for a job as a skilled worker with Canadian public service.
Will he find work easily?
My friend in Winnipeg is willing to house me for the duration of my stay.I would appreciate some advice
Thank you

When it comes to live and work in Canada, nothing is easy. It is a long process.. Best is you start looking here

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/eligibility.asp

Truck drivers and probation officers are not on the list of the 50 approved sought after jobs.. there might be other options.
