long wait for visit visa from pakistan

my Canada visa expired in march 2021. I reapplied on the 4th of July 2021 but still did not get any updates although I can see on my profile that my case was updated in September 2021 but no updates are available yet. I again applied on the 7th April 2022 and still waiting but no updates. kindly guide me on why IRCC does not make a decision in my case?
