Long visitor visa processing times from Schengen countries

Dear colleagues,

I am writing to inquire about the status of my visitor visa application to Canada. I applied on June 6, 2023, from Paris, France, and my friend sponsored me. It has now been one year since I applied, and I have not yet received a response.

I am aware that visa processing times can vary, but I am concerned that my application may have been overlooked or lost. I would appreciate it if anyone could look into the matter and provide me with an update on the status of my application.
Or is there a similar case like me here from france ?

This is not a government site so no one can look it up for you. Contact IRCC. Look at processing times. Also no such thing a sponsorship for a TRV. You show your own funds, travel history, ties to return and valid reasons to travel.

The fact that you are applying for France means little. What is your citizenship and do you have legal status in France (what type) and when does it end? What ties have you shown to your home country? How much liquids savings have you shown? Why do you want to visit Canada and who are you wanting to visit?
