Long delay for dependant Spousal Permit; Applied Extension along principal BOWP

Hello,

Checking if any one facing similar issue and what is to be done?

My spouse's Work permit extension (Spousal/Dependant) was submitted online along with my BOWP (principal applicant) in Aug 1st week.
I received my BOWP letter in two weeks, but my spouses permit extension is still not received.

We tried calling the CIC helpline and each time they say it is in the queue for printing. This has been the same response over the couple times that we called in last three weeks.
One of the agent we spoke today just mentioned that technically the time line is upto 3 months, after they take the request regarding the letter printing to the concerned department.

Not sure how long we need to wait to receive extension letter and the online status stills says 'OPEN'.

Is there any one facing similar issue? Please advice..

Since CIC said that it is in the printing queue, don't worry too much. It will come along soon. Anyhow, your spouse will be on implied status in this time.
