Hi there. I was sponsored by my father as a dependent child but lost it when I returned to my home country. Now I am looking at Lonely Canadian rule.
Can I apply again because I already had Permanent residence?
Also, can my father sponsor somebody else later, like a wife he meets or something? He doesn't have a wife or a girlfriend, is divorced, has nobody who is a PR in Canada.

Thanks!

Nope, didn't apply and didn't renounce. Ended up doing nothing about it.
You need to do something about it before your father can attempt to sponsor you.

And just to confirm - your husband has no children in Canada and also no other family members (like a sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousins).

There's no husband:) Just father, both times:)
Sure, I can renounce it, I just wasn't sure it was a right choice.
Yes, he has no one. He did sponsor my brother also, years ago, as a dependent child, but my brother didn't spend almost any time in Canada because he wasn't interested in living there so he will definitely renounce it (he doesn't have a right to permanent residency).

To confirm your father must meet ALL these conditions to be eligible to sponsor you after you renounce your PR status:
- No family in Canada
- No living parents anywhere in the world
- No relatives who are Canadian PR/citizen, anywhere in the world

He has an older mother in Europe and we have no idea about the father, but they are like 80+, in no way interested in Canada. Why would they be an issue?
The other 2 conditions are fine (will be fine once my brother renounce his pr status).

There is already an existing IRCC program to sponsor parents, so that takes precedent. He can't sponsor any "other" relative (like a child over age of dependent) unless his parents are deceased.

The fact they aren't interested in moving to Canada is not relevant.

And can she like write an affidavit that she has no interest whatsoever in Canada?
It doesn't matter. As long as PGP route exist for your father, he cannot sponsor you under "Alone in Canada" clause. Technically he is not "alone" as he has his mother to sponsor.

Would be irrelevant.

Option 2: other relative
You may sponsor one relative, related by blood or adoption, of any age if you meet all of the conditions, including:
  • you don't have a living relative you could sponsor instead, such as a:
    • spouse
    • common-law partner
    • conjugal partner
    • son or daughter
    • parent
    • grandparent
    • brother or sister
    • uncle or aunt
    • nephew or niece

But I am a daughter:) And he does have a sister (also not interested), as well as a mother. I don't get the logic behind this, honestly... Is there any other way?

In that case he doesn't meet the lonely Canadian rule and can't sponsor you.

How old are you? Any chance you are 21 or under?
