I would just want to clarify one thing.
Did you send your passports with the fees upon their request or on your own?!

Hey, it was our agent who advised us to send passports along with landing fees. We didn't get any request to send those.

Shanks, you are surprised how fast that happened! Here are people worried how long this wait is going to be.

My process might have been fast since I had CSQ from the visa office in Paris. I think having a CSQ basically speeds up the process since the visa office who does background checks and medical do not have to review my application since Quebec Province already selected me.

All they have to do is check background and medicals.

Not sure though.

But right now it is decision made on my status for 3 weeks or so now.

We submitted our medicals on May 15,2012.but still no news from CIC. Is there any chance of rejecting our application. Also I would like to relocate to Saudi Arabia for good. Will it affect my application?

I wonder why they are taking a long time again in processing things.

Anyway, the new cic news (that they won't be accepting new applications till christmas to remove the backlog) should ensure that we all have our applications done by the end of the year.

This temporary suspension will definitely speed up the processing of existing files. Much update is expected in July-August.

Should we (Applicant completed their medicals in April) expect PPR in this month ?? How come there is complete silence and no one has received the PPR ?

What do you guys think about the Background check how long do they require to complete it ?

Although we have waited for years but waiting after medicals is too much to handle
