How can I find the name of my Visa Oficer so that I may directly send him query emails rather using web query page?
Some people received replies from direct VO mail address, then we came to know the name. Still the email is official and it contains the name@international.gc.ca
It seems that they have experts for the different countries, now this VO is for 4 people which I know, that means she is dealing pakistanis.

I was also told that the Police Certificates will reach him in due course for review. I was under the impression that PC's go to some other dept frpm registry (after posts have been sorted out) for running the Police Clearance checks but surprised to hear that Visa Offcer review all these - should I expect PC's going after review to some investigation agency for further?

I think it's up to the VO, if he trusts our PCC, otherwise he can forward to some agencies which are doing checks for them

Of course, its suppose to be not the same, doesnt matter where are you from.

Every case allocated to a specific officer not on a basis of nationality, i assume they allocate cases by file numbers... ::) not actually sure

Gents,

Most of us have submitted our MRs a month back. But still "medical received" line is not added to our e case. Any one has the idea about the time line?

True, but MR line is not always there as is evident from various posts on this forum. Just hope that we all get our PPR soon.

Dear Friends,

All the immigration cases are well based on BF'D (Date) to view/study, and this date is a kind of alert to the VO as (To Do List) in that particular date. For example, When VO review your file for allocating points to your file at that time he/she mentioned their reviews/notes in your file, also request for further documents, like
Updated Forms, Medical Request, RPRF, Updated PCC, etc (if necessary) and along with that he/she also mentioned your next BF'D (Date)

  • Updated Forms
  • Medical Request
  • RPRF
  • Updated PCC

along with that he/she will also be responsible to assign new BF'D (Date). This new BF'D is the duration where you can send all the requested documents. If VO request you the Medical on 12-03-2012, along with request he/she will mention in your file the BF'D for after 90-120 days (which is 3-4 months approx.). and after 90-120 day the same VO open your file to check wether you had submitted the requested documents or not. let assume you had submitted all of them in that case VO mentioned in your file and which will also reflect in your e-case that "Medical has been Received".

As per our captain Qorax's Thread for Background Check (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/background-checks-explained-t39578.0.html), that the security check is commences after our med results are submitted to the CHC, so once your DMR submits your medical results to CHC within your stipulated time period, CHC starts your security checks and if the results of your security check (which is conducted by another agency) is also receive before 90-120 days duration then VO has no objection but to issue you the Passport Request. Whereas, in-contrast the "Medical Recevied" line will appear in your e-cas but no Passport Request will be generated.

This is not a matter of concern whether a line indicating medical received is added to your E-cas. Some people don't get this line addition at all. Though it gives you some comfort that your case is in progress. Your cases are handled as per BFD.

Hi Khalid

My time line is similar to optimist. But my case will be little different, I think.
For me, RPRF was not asked along with the medical request. I did send RPRF 21 May,2012 after getting the RPRF request through email. So I have to wait some more couples of weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hope for the best.
