OK. The Ecas will continue to show In process. Medical line shows that background checks has been completed and now CIC is about to issue PPR. It may take 1-2 weeks.

Guys,

This is completely not true, ie 1-2 wks !!!

Med Line just shows that VO is accepted and satisfied with your Med results, and Security checks are in process.
This process is in avg 3 mths and can last to 6 mths.

Just let be positive and hope we will get our PPR as soon as possible ;)

IRG,
I've seen a lady from Pakistan received PPR only after 17 days of medical sent. So that's not a hard and fast rule that it'd take 3-6 months. It may come earlier depending on background checks. After medical line added, PPR is confirmed.

Of course, i agree, it depends on individual case, but in general it might take 3-6 mths. Not all people in this forum are from Pakistan ;) )))
Just let be positive and hopefully we'll get good news any day soon )))) :-*
