Hi Lovie, thanks to you for creating this thread. Please include me in the list. We got MR on 31/5/2012 and done our medical on June 30, 2012

I just have one clarification. In your 1st post dated June 26 you mention that ur medical is done on 14/6/2012 and sent yesterday by DMP (I assume June 25). However, you metion in your reply to Pooja that health bay DMP sent medicals in 2 days time (June 16???)

I just want to clarify coz, until now (5 working days after our medical) we are not yet informed by DMP regarding sending medical to LVO.

Good question!! I know it sounds confusing , let me explain.

Well I did receive my meds on 11/06/12 . When I checked the form I found that they typed my country of birth wrong. That is instead of UAE , it was mentioned India, plus they switched my first name and second name. So I checked with my DMP and they said its common for CIC to do such errors and she said she would correct it after verifying my passport. So I went ahead and did my medicals on 14/06/12 and simultaneously send a CSE to LVO and reported them about the errors in the medical report form.
LVO send me a reply after 3 days that they have send new medical instructions via snail mail, so I asked my DMP to keep my medical results on hold and not send them till I receive the new instructions. On 23rd I received the new corrected form and submitted to my DMP so she could send the results along with the new form which she did on the 25th. So thats what I meant by saying they send in two days .

Anyhow , if you have done your medicals from healthy bay as well they usually say to wait maximum 7 days although they do send in 2-3 days , also consider weekends and public holidays in between .Also they send the tracking number via sms , so that we can track on our own.

P.S. : BTW, LVO people seem to be very weird, even after sending them email that my country of birth is wrong , in the new form the again typed India and only corrected my first name and surname , so my DMP corrected it again!!! So much for sending a CSE !!!

Hello Lovie, yeah it took a very long time and now I'm starting to see the light

Question: all of you here that got their medical, have you been asked to pay the RPRF before or along with the meds or not yet ?

Well, some of them before meds, some with meds and some when passport request is sent.

Like in my case I paid the RPRF when I sent my application to London visa office initially .

Had received request for updated schedule-A in March, followed by meds in May.

I went to bank today and spoke to cust svcs manager about RPRF encashment. After much hesitation, they've agreed to track the DD and let me know just to the extent if it has been cashed and when. They'll call to let me know and I'll post updates.

I believe 3 - 4 weeks post-encashment should be alright to send a Case Specific Enquiry.

Well as per the instructions from LVO , they expect us to wait 3-4 months before sending a CSE , coz thats the time frame they give us initially to process our medical requests , get our security checks done and then request for our passports. But you can try sending a CSE or probably you can send CAIPS , you would get more details. That's what I was planning to do so before i got my medicals, now I have put that on hold and am thinking of sending CAIPS by the end of July as they take another month or 6 weeks to reply back !

I haven't received any updates yet. Sometimes the CAS is not updated and you do get passport requests!!

Yeah that's a good idea to check with the bank and trace your draft , you would have some idea what's happening.

None from my side, as my med was received only by LVO on July 3. But I was positively hoping (considering the freeze in new applications) that LVO will make our process more faster. . . and we will receive our PPRs in a month ot two

However, noticed that LVO applicants who had their meds done in May have started receiving PPRs lately, while a few more positive updates from those who had completed meds in Feb~April.

Hi, please count me: MR, updated PCC and RPRF all at 21.5.2012; ME done: 12.6.2012; PCC and RPRF reached Warsaw VO by 3.7.2012; they wrote that I should complete my ME with in 30 days and updated PCC with RPRF with in 45 days from the date of request i.e 21.5.2012; also informed me that ( approximate time needed for medical assessment is 6-8 weeks, then my file will be under review due to background check, it will take another 2 months or so.. within next 4-5 month they can finalize the processing of my application.
