Assalamualaikum, I am writing to share my interview experience at Abu Dhabi on 24-07-2016

The VO was a nice lady.
First she asked me for passport, Shedule A Form and experience related documents.
She saw all documents briefly
Entered some data and then asked that my company doesnot have website.
Then asked about previous jobs,
Why I quit those and how I got this present job?
What my company do?
What are my duties?
How many people working in our company?
How many are working under me and to whom I report?
My children age?
Who look after them in my absence?

and asked me in detail almost all the duties mentioned in my experience letter.

In the end she said your eligibility is cleared and I will send you the medical in
a week and further process will depend on your response.

I received medical request and RPRF the next day.
Got appointment of 3 August

Many many congratulations to you ZKR,

who was your visa officer? and for how long interview was.

Thanks for sharing and now do pray for us.

I do think that a lot depends on where you are applying from.

I applied from uk as follows:

Submission was made in December 2015 (prior to this all Medicals, tests and education work history etc was prepared)

In May 2016 we were asked to submit passports to Canadian embassy

Within two weeks passports returned with Landing documents (no visa required in passports as they were British passports)

Landed in Canada for a day in June and got passports stamped. Now waiting for PR card arrival at my friends address in BC.

From my experience on this forum and from many other people who have applied from other countries, the process may take a bit longer as they are more stringent with ensuring everything is in order, valid and most importantly genuine.

So long as you have genuine documentation along with any additions needed (evaluated transcripts, translated documents if required etc) then you should not worry.

Canada are genuinely looking for immigrants to build up their country and bump up their population numbers whilst most of all paying towards taxes. The percentage of applicants to be rejected is considerably low compared to the applications received.

Although the it may cost about $2000 Canadian dollars, it is also useful to use immigration attorney firm who are experts at these applications. They will guide you and act as your representative. They will check all documents being submitted and ensure all aspects are covered. When the CIC application form states your immigration attorney as your representative (and especially if you use one of few reputable ones who CIC are familiar with) the CIC officer(s) tend not to be as strict as the things they are checking would have been checked by the attorneys.

Good luck all and please don't worry as it does not do anyone any good! God willing all genuine applications will be processed and landing documents provided.

I got correspondence from many different names
In my interview invitation it was PLB.
My interview was 50 minutes long

Dear seniors,

After Landing to Canada , the immigration officer asked me about my canadian address , which I gave him and he also told me that the PR card will be delivered to this address. Now, Even my Ecas is updated now , In my ECAS ... Under the HOME ADDRESS , my Canadian Address is mentioned whereas Under the Mailing Address , my old address ( the address which I gave to the authorities while applying under the FSW program ) is mentioned ...

Please , let me know that if the this is normal and if the PR Card will be delivered to my Home Address or the Mailing Address , that is displayed on the ECAS.

Hi, didn't you receive instructions with the email to submit passports. Take those instructions to any good photographer and he will surely understand.

I received a request on 12 July 2016 to send CIC the additional documents including Schedule A, Supplementary information chart, Pcc, passport bio pages copies etc..... later I noticed that when I login to GCKey, my profile says, "Your action is required" and when I check the status and massages at the bottom there is a button of view submitted applications. When I click it, the next page shows my submitted application and I can see a request for Letter of Explanation. the deadline is 16 July 2016. In details, it says Replacement Required, of what , I don't know. there is an option to upload the file, what I don't know and also there is a deadline of 16th August.

I am confused if it is related to the additional documents request or it is something else....Please advise....

Can anyone comment on above scenario????

AlhumduliAllah today I received back my passports with visa and CoPR.

Hi Everyone,

Received MR request on 5th Aug along with RPRF payment and updated Information chart. My timeline is on the left.

Email came from DRD and not RFI who was replying to all earlier emails.

Many congratulations. Patience paid off finally. Get a medical appointment and it will be pretty quick from thereon.
