26th Nov 2014 applicant, no MR yet ..... routine background checks are going on since Feb 2016 as per CSE reply, CSE again raised on 3 may 2016... reply awaiting review by visa officer....19 months since application ... no much update :( :(

Dear 31-Oct-2014 Applicant, No MR Yet. Last reply of CSE is "background checks are going on your application. ..". visa officer RFI.

It is true that once we do the initial landing , the immigration officer applies for our New PR card at the airport itself.

So my question is that , how much time does it take to get the PR card delivered to our mailing address ? So does this mean that like , around 50-60 days at maximum we will get our PR card in hand ? Or this can shoot up to 100 - 150 days as well ? Or it also depends upon the time we land ? Like someone was saying that in summers the processing for a NEW PR CARD is faster e.t.c. e.t.c. ... So what was the experience of the ppl who landed in the month of july ... was the processing quick ? Or in winters it is quick ?

Its takes 50 to 60 days from the date you landed in Canada. Processing time keeps on changing however this is an average time. Hope this helps.

Dear All Senior Members,

First of all sorry for being away from the forum for long time and congratulates to all those got their Visas Issued and best of luck for all those who's applications are in process.

As all of the senior members know that Our PR was issued in 2015 , we went to Canada in 2015 for few months and then came back to UK, as we had to sort out things here in UK.

Our plan was to move permanently to Canada in start of 2017.

By the grace of God we have been blessed with a baby this month in UK, now I have few questions as our baby is born in UK and we don't have visa for the baby and as the baby is born now after 1 year and six months after our PR visas were issued so there is no record for out baby in Canada or in our applications.

Now My question is that how we can get our baby's visa and what visa we can get? Because I am the principal applicant and I am the mother of new born baby and can not travel without baby.

All senior members I need urgent help on this matter as we are planning to move in next few months.

Waiting for urgent and helpful comments.

I am Oct 2014 applicant and want to know , the importance of MR and RPRF. Can anyone confirm those who get MR and RPRF should they think that there process is finished. Do the embassy still take decision after that...or what are further chances....

after MR and RPRF, process is not yet over. My file is currently undergoing background checks after doing medicals and paid RPRF. However, every file stands on a case to case basis.

Whats your baby's nationality? that is what passport does she have? is it from a country that needs visa to enter or canada or from one that doesnt need?

Dear engrted, My baby has the same nationality as mine which is Pakistani and need visa to enter to Canada

Today I raised CSE n got response that YOUR FILE IS UNDER REVIEW BY AN OFFICER.
THIS was from Client Service Unit
