Can someone guide please. Thanks in advance. What is the minimum expiry period of passport required for the visas to be stamped on the passport? Mine is having less than 10 months to expire. Would appreciate feedback. Should I renew the passport before the expiry gets closer by the passage of time.

They will expect to see more than 12 months between when you get PPR and when the 1 year initial visa will expire. As you and I know, there might be delays so 10 months is clearly not enough so you will definitely have to renew.

It also depends if the country that issues passport will issue a new one when the old passport still has blank pages and 10months to expiring

Many thanks for your reply. Definitely I will go for the renewal of my passport to avoid any problems may face at later stage.

I received the RPRF yesterday (12-5-2016), and made the payment on the same day.
What & when shall I expect next ?

Received my gcms for the 2nd time
After 4 month from medical the status is still showing IN PROCESS for the medical
Criminality passed
Elegibility passed
Security updated and hidden
Medical in process
I did my medical in jan 12th

Any comments plz !!

Dear what was the last response of email/CSE? and who is your Visa Officer? . It's better to order GCMS NOTES and find out where your file got stuck. Many applicants like you are still waiting due to background checks and job verification.

My process is stuck also since March 2015 i have no update . I dont know that
The military service which i did or my long travel histor
May delay the case or not. Do u r similar?
