Hi,

Friends I have received GCMS Notes last evening, it shows nothing started even after 13 months since PER. Earlier due date was 31-DEC-2015 now they moved it to 13-Feb.

Not a single line varies from my previous notes which i ordered in October.

What could be the reason of not initiating any checks, its a indication will they dump the file after some time.If checks were started and got stuck somewhere in security/background checks

are acceptable but Put Away Status after 15+ months.

Are you aware of the date of transfer of your file to LVO?

Wouldn't it be like that one has to start the whole process from scratch, including the payment of fees (as this one is not refunding for sure).

Payment of fee starts after you receive ITA. So Express Entry is good in that sense that first step is free.

Once you get ITA then you need to pay processing fee. Getting ITA itself is a difficult process as you need to score 450+. Last Score 457 [27 Jan 16]

Hi guys,

I need some information from you guys. October 2014 applicant here (BWJ).

My company have just received a reference request from CIC. They have called me to ask if it is okay for them to release the information to them.

I am going to see them tomorrow, however, I am a bit concerned about what they are asking for.

The reason is, due to data protection reasons, they were not able to provide them with a breakdown of my job description etc, so I had to write this myself as a cover letter. They just confirmed that I work there, and confirmed all the promotions I got and the dates of employment alongside my job title. This matches the information in the cover letter.

Who has an idea of what they would normally ask? Or what the reference request would look like? What would they be worried about?

Please I need the response ASAP.

Ok, so they have started physical verification. You are the second case reported up till now. One of my friend too got on call verification.

Sep/Oct 2015 physical verification have happened and in that 1 one of my friend told me that his employer got the call, the HR Person. It was less than 1.5 Minute Call. They asked the complete name and the department you are working. Asked about the job, as he was on the lead role so asked how many person he is supervising. Asked whether he is permanent full time employee. And yes they also asked how many hours he work even after knowing he is a full time employee.

So my advice please take your manager/HR Manager in confidence and tell them that they will receive a call. Be Proactive!

Alhamdolillah, with grace and blessings of Almighty ALLAH, guidance and support of all forum members and prayers of family and friends....I have received PPR email on 10 February 2016.

After all maximum issues, DD encashment problem, Pics specification issues, PCC from one Country waiver request..finally manage to get through. I did all at my own with help of my friend, Zeeshan Khan, special thnxs to him for pushing me to go for Immigration.

Application submitted: 11 September 2014
PER email received on : 31 December 2014 ( due to DD issue, got email to resend new DD)
Photos Request: 10 February 2015
Photos submitted: 16 February 2015
Second line update: 29 July 2015
Updated PCC, Schedule A and Nikah Nama request on : 29 July 2015
Submitted all above mentioned docs on : 14 August 2015 ( request waiver of PCC from one Country)
Medical request on : 22 January 2016 (along with RPRF, Passport copies)
Medical completed on : 28 January 2016
RPRF, Passport copies and Updated info form sent on : 04 February 2016
PPR : 10 February 2016

Your PPR is very near if DM is after medicals, the delay is probably due to Visa Quota ended for 2015 and many Oct/Nov/Dec 2016 Applicants [Ones who have Medical Received Line in ECAS] received PPR in Jan/Feb 2016 due to that

GCMS : Global Case Management System - a System based on Siebel Systems [CRM]
CSE: Case Specific Query - a facility of sending a query to CIC/Visa Office to ask about your file or to send updates

Please apply GCMS Notes through http://www.visafile.info/ [You can pay the fee through your Debit Card - Its safe] You will get your GCMS Notes in 30 to 45 days of the order as per the Canadian Privacy Act

Send CSE to LVO through https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london [Be formal - Be specific] InshaALLAH you will get reply and you will get to know about the current status of your file.

I will advice do both, CSE will give you update from your Visa Officer but will be very general. GCMS Notes will give you a detail about your file and each of us should have atleast one GCMS Note as this tells you whole alot.

They use only one mode of communication [email/phone/site visit], so if they have sent you the email this is a good sign as at first case they have recognized your organization with email because if they have concern they must have call or do site visit. Convince the person who has received the email to shape the mail in your interest.

Your PPR might be on hold bcz of security clearance so just chill. It took almost 5 months for my security to be cleared as I have extensive traveling.
