after a long wait of almost a year to i know who is my visa officer... today KKB replied to my CSE stating....

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your file is currently pending review by an Immigration Officer. Should the Immigration Officer require any further information, you will be contacted. You are urged to send documents only when requested to do so.

Please note, we have updated your address as per the information you have provided below.

We thank you for your patience and continued cooperation during this process.

can someone please help me understanding the red content? what does pending review mean?

It means that the file is still with Program Assistant and once he/she feels that its ready to be presented to Immigration Officer (after completion of all the checks) then its IO's discretion to ask for additional documents or send MR.

I have a question
I am not sure why I am not getting a response to my CSE. I have raised CSE twice and it was regarding change of address and update on my case.

is it may be because I have a representative? but the important thing is that CIC has my email address for communication. My representative never gave them his email address

please advise as my address is now changed but I am not getting anything from CIC

KKB, RFI, DRD, VCM, LBM, RIH etc. all these are program assistants who work with Immigration Officers and corresponds with the applicants. Once the file is completed by PA only then its ready for IO's review but at this point IO can again ask for additional docs and this will be communicated to you either by PA or that generic signature of immigration & Medical is used for this purpose.

It is generally valid for one year either from the date of medicals done OR from the date of medicals received in LVO. In my case, it is valid for one year from the date of Medicals received with LVO.

or if the epxiration date on your international passport or any member of your family(dependents) is nearer, it will expire on that date

Why photo requests were not either from PA or IO?

why these were sent from generic email of immigration and medical services division?

If program assistant first checks file and then send it to immigration officer then who asked for photographs?PA or IO?

by god's grace we have received the request for MR, RPRF and updated information mail on 26th October. very very happy as last whole year was too painful to wait. I love you DRD.

now I need to ask as it was written in the email that Medical form will follow the email otherwise we need to contact them back within 2-3 days. its been 2 days and we have taken appointment with the doctor for Saturday but forms has not yet arrived.

can someone tell me is there any other way to complete the medical or any other email address to check the form (as we have sent mail for form but just getting automated response).

also double check on your spam mail.if you are using agent, tell the agent to also check their spam mail

exactly same procedure i opt from my GCMS but i think all correspondence would done by IO beacause i also had so and in GCMS notes section when i send CSE for status inquiry IO put a note that Applicant requires status awiting rep fromXXX that is assistant and then another note where XXX PA says to IO "YYY pl req RPRF , meds"

By the grace of Allah, we received our passports stamped and COPR. It only took 2 days to send get stamped and receive them! I posted the passports Thursday evening and got them back with visa today morning.

I have a question regarding passport request photographs:

PPR email says that write application number and name at the back of photos. Do we need write DOB and address of photo shop and date photo taken at the back of photos? Or for PPR photos that is not required?

It seems that LVO has stopped responding to CSEs even.

It is a high level accusation. Please do not place such accusations on, "day and night hard working guys" of LVO!!!

At least one thing for sure that due to being afraid of legal action, LVO replies to CSE because for every CSE they have a ready made copy paste message. Which means one second needed to reply to every CSE.

So in one hour 3600CSEs can be replied. Simple Maths.

I'm fsw2014 Cairo VO (PER 8-Aug-2014).

I did MR last July, and I sent updated "Schedule A forms", PCC and paid RPRF yesterday as per Cairo VO request.

1- At this stage, have I passed the background (employment not security) check?.
2- When is the next step? and when to expect it?.
