Does getting MR mean that background and security etc checks are over? please see my reply above .good luck if you have received medical,it means your eligibility is cleared. and background checks have been started on your file. it may take 6 month to 2 years, depending upon the complexity of your file.


2. Is it possible that they will ask me for PCCs after the medical results?( yes its quite possible they may ask to submit PCC later during background checks . i have seen such cases where VO ask PCC at later stage .)

3. Regarding paying RPRF fees, the link given in the email just relates to fee structure, but when I click on Pay Fees in that page's options it takes me through various pages of choosing the fee I want to pay and no of adults in the application (980 CAD for 2 persons). Then I am asked to Sign In (or register with my email address if I am a new user) on the CIC online services page. Should I use my email address to register an account here and continue with the payment procedure? yes use your registered email which you have mentioned in your immigration file and proceed for the online payment.

4. Can I use Visa prepaid debit card (activated for online use) for paying the RPRF fees, or is a Credit Card only accepted. as per my understanding you can use only credit card for international transaction /RPRF .

Would appreciate some help regarding these matters.

assalam o alikum doc i just share my expereince

got my GCMS after medical req

1 . eligibility ,criminility, biographic all status are passed except security screening which has to be done after medicals and receiving RPRF ..thats told GCMS..

2. Pcc's are used for crimnility check not for security screening which is done by agencies none of single case i have seen in 2 years who were asked for PCC's after meds

3.prepaid visa debit have same specs as a credit card so it can be used in lieu of Cr card but only prepaid Deb card

4. i didnt pay online but i remember when i made id and go on further step diif opt are availble for fees like 1 person spouse
and dependents


and i m a pnp nominee with 2 -3 yaers experience i also had no employment verification no pcc request or no other doc req till MR

We got our MRs on a Friday and PCC, Schedule A and Landing Fees requests on the Monday. Good Luck..x

Hi All,

Me and my little family got the MR on 16th Of OCT.

Nov 2nd is the Medical appointment and we have been also asked by RIH to send PCC + BioPage from my Spouse and baby's Passport+ RPRF Paid slip.

Once the medical is done I am planning to send the documents from London as I am presently in UK.

Is there anyone here who knows the time frame between the medical done and received by the LVO ?

Does anyone know within how many days they might ask for the passport and how long they might take to return to me?

Any reply will definitely help .....
 
If the medical has E-facility then the results are uploaded into CIC systems in 3-4 days. Regarding PPR, that can vary significantly from days to months in rare cases. As for return of passport after stamping, in Pakistan its usually taking 10-14 days presently but it differs depending upon visa office.

Hi, everyone. RIH asked me for the background declaration of me and my spouse on 9th Sep 2015. After that no response. When should I xpect the MR. Plz guide
