The speed at which LVO is sending PPR emails these days I believe you will get it in a few days.

Who's your visa officer?

Yes its a high time now, there are dec applicants who are receiving medical requests these days and we are still waiting in the que. There is no first come first serve basis, applications are being dealt randomly and as per the efficiency of visa officer.

seniors!

I need some information. I have applied through a consultant. I want to know if its only my consultant who can enquire about my application or I also have the same right?

I don't know how but it looks like that consultant provided my personal email address for communication. I am not sure if there are options of providing more than one email addresses in the application.

I have only received one email from CIC which was about the receipt of application and UCI.....

I want to communicate with CIC on my own as my consultant is very lazy.....

Please advise

Congratulations!!

They recently moved from kda to f14, pechs block 6. I went to this address 2 weeks back. What address is mentioned in your list?

Send the email appointment request right away. You can keep trying the phone even after that but atleat your email will come in the que. I did the same thing and was successful thru email. Sent the message friday got the response monday.

You have plenty of time so dont worry you will meet the deadline.

Hi, I had a question regarding showing proof of settlement funds at the canadian border for landing. can we take a lesser amount than what we have shown when we filed the application, as my relatives have funds with them so i need not carry a large amount of money in the form of bank draft. I showed CAD 14000 in the form of bank deposit in Pakistan, but i just want to carry CAD 5000 in demand draft and 2000 CAD in cash, is that fine ?

Just came back from VFS.
I would like to add a few things from what happened...
1. Photo specs - not as per PPR letter.
They need name and address of photographer and date taken, and not application number and name on the backside.
2. For all yet to submit.. read 5th page of PPR properly !

Thanks again,
Regards

Dear,

It's fine as long as you have a fresh bank statement/certificate in your name signed and stamped, with or without cash.
It doesn't matter what amount was shown in application.
But the total amount for POF (unencumbered), should comply with No. of applicants arriving at POE as per CIC.

Link... amounts are updated annually,
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Hope it helps.

It means they have the record that for 2 people x amount of funds need to be shown and they check whether the immigrant has that minimum amount or not ?

Yes dear,
It clearly says:

"You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you)".
