Thanks bro. Yes I guess VO have varying styles of work. On the RIH thread one applicant got MR about 20 days after SLU. So I guess there is more waiting

Strange are the ways of LVO, my friend. I got SLU two days AFTER I received the MR There's no pattern, apparently.

I have just seen in my ECAS that 2nd line was updated as the following:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 3, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on October 23, 2014.

What is supposed for this to mean? I have got the PER on October 28th, 2014, i.e. days after 2nd line.

Its now a trend that LVO is following. I think they give processing date from the date when the file was picked up at CIC Office for PER approval. Do you know who is your VO?

2. We started processing your application on October 23, 2014.

What is supposed for this to mean? I have got the PER on October 28th, 2014, i.e. days after 2nd line.

I have got strange TLU as below:

"We sent you correspondence on July 6, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

Although i have sent them rest of the items on July 30, 2015 except medicals and also medical was done subsequently on August 05, 2015. So every thing is done.

Has Any one got this update and have any idea, why is this and any suggestion for future action.

Previously people get Second Line Update immediately before or after the MR, but now ECAS is showing the date when the application was still at CIO, Nova Scotia, Sydney, Canada. Most probably its the date when CIO made the positive decision about the applicant's eligibility for immigration and charge the payment. The PER was issued afterwards.

Now most of the applicants who got SLU recently are expecting the MR and/or additional documents request within a month's time. Lets wait and see what happens.

Processing times for Skilled Workers at various visa offices is updated today by CIC at following link after a very long time:-

at LVO now it will take maximum of 18-Months to process an application.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

When estimating how long you will wait to receive a temporary visa, you must also take into account up to 10 days of transit or delivery time on top of CIC’s processing time. The time your application will spend travelling to and from CIC will vary depending on where you live.
