Hello all,

Need your guidance w.r.t getting police clearance certificate. I belong to karachi, pakistan and have some following queries on the subject:

1. Do i need to obtain PCC for all the addresses i mentioned in background declaration form or only for current address?
2. What docs are required for this process and would it be made from any local police station or headquarters?
3. How much time it would take to get this PCC?

Prompt replies on the matter are highly appreciated

Hi Congrats to you brother. May I ask, whats the difference between PPR1 and PPR2? I am also with MXH, prior to receiving your MR did he ask you for other documents, like bank statement or anything, because he ask me for Bank statement and until now i am still waiting for our MR. I'm just curious.

Thank you

Thanks SRMUMTAZ, so nice of you. And +1 for you.

I will raise the CSE on Monday, let's see how it goes! I must say your one was so quick, almost in no time you got the PPR! Generally after PCC, they take some time from 15 days to 4 month as observed in the forum. Did you submitted PCC for 1 country or more?!

i submitted for 3 countries where i have lived more than 6 months. Yeah it was very quick.

1. You only need 1 PCC from a country regardless of the number of times you have moved houses within that country. The PCC should show your most recent address.
2. you need passport copy, NIC copy, photos and can be request from your local police station.
3. it took a week to 10 days.

hope this helps.

Dont worry Sami normally it takes some days to get PPR after decision made. My status was updated as decision made on Friday last week and i have not yet received PPR. :). If you do not receive it in this week better to raise CSE.

yes you should if you can. CIIP is a CIC sponsored service and it only offers its services online for applicants from Pakistan. COA is from IOM Pakistan and offered locally. So, its only plus plus.

Is it in karachi??? I got my self registered but they have given me the date of Nov 3, 2015 and that too for online session.
Can you send me any link for this karachi session registration?

Dear Suhas
The CIIP live sessions are only available in the Middle East, London, India etc (except Pakistan). So for Pakistan it can only be attended online. I have also enrolled for 3 webinar sessions on this website http://www.prepareforcanada.com/ i.e. if you wish to enroll but again its online.

Dear shb
Both r orientation programs. COA is hosted by IOM while CIIP by the Government of Canada. Which is better? experienced members r invited to comment?

230 DAYS

Today its 230 days since PER and 341 days since application filed.
God knows how many months / days / years have to wait. (BWJ – VO)

Friends, I had raised CSE in April, was replied application is in queue for processing. Do you recommend I should open 2nd CSE ?
Will this affect application time. Not that its going superfast anyways.

:'(

Sheray
