End of May, 2015 MR ~200 Days
June-2015, Medical Cleared ~ 10 Days
June-2015 Decision Made with request to submit the passport at Abu Dhabi VO = ~ 20 Days
July Passport & CORP collected personally = ~ 15 working day

I'ts OK to have a slightly damaged page on your Passport as long as this is a visa page not the BIO page ... so you actually don't need to do any changes now

Dear Thank you for your mail. I am not worried about canadian visa office. However, last time during my to india at immigration they have warned me to renew it ASAP. Hence, i have to renew the passport but i dont know when ? before getting PPR request or after stamping of Visa. If i will renew my passport now and send both passport with ppr request, will it be a fine ?

Did you submit PCC with the application at the beginning or later with MR? And was there any dependent added later? I have done MR but not sure how long it may take...

I would send wait until landing if possible , else after the Stamping visa, as long as you keep the current passport with you & the old passport , the visa is only for you to be able to get on a commercial plan to Canada , else you can use the PR or the Confirmation of PR to enter Canada

However to be on the safe side do ur landing with the current passport as long as it's not expiring

Hi guys for people who are submitting their passport in UAE for stamping, i have noticed that persons who are submitting lately through aramex takes only 15 days or less, and it costs 140 for sending (add 100 Dhs for each extra passport) 40 for receiving

SLU today, one day after I received my MR. It says "Started processing on 29th July", the MR mail is dated 30th July.

Ok i will wait till stamping. Can we do landing with visa in old passport ? I hope there is no issue.

Well, I guess for some applicants - maybe with those with easily verifiable background checks, or other straight forward cases- SLU comes with MR, and SLU basically means that background checks are already done. Was the same with a friend of mine from LVO as well, who got SLU and MR within a day, and two days after submitting medical, their profile was changed to decision made. In my case, SLU actually came two days AFTER I received MR! Go figure

What i know is that SLU mean they have started processing , including Background checks

I thought so too, but it doesn't seem possible for all background checks to be done in one day, like in my case. the only thing I can come up with is the fact that all my experience has been with large companies, and is easily verifiable even through a simple Google search in my name ad in most cases the company websites and news releases contain my name in different capacities for all my employers, previous and present. strange are the ways of lvo indeed.

Hope you are doing well. I want to ask one question regarding Police certificate requirement. I was doing a job in abroad 11 years ago. I left that job in January 2004 and came back to home country.
Could you please tell me, do i need a Police clearance certificate of that Country where i lived 11 years ago?
I think it is very difficult and almost impossible to get 11 years old Police certificate from any abroad country. For the last 11 years i do not have any travel history of abroad.
Your answer will be highly appreciated.
