Hi all, I got my medical today, but panel doctors in Hatat PC are on leave and will back after July 25, there is one more panel doctor sits in Tahhan Medical Centre. Anybody can share his experience with dr. Mohammed walid Tahhan. My timeline is as under:

Application date: Aug-14
PER : Dec-14
VO: DRD
NOC: 0111

I would prefer Hatat as it is very large set up but instead of waiting for their doctor to come back you can go to Tahhan which isnt bad either. Dr Walid is very friendly and cooperative and also e medical enabled. The only concern is that he doesnt have X-ray facility at his establishment so for the X- ray he will send you back to Hatat who will do it free charge after being sent by Dr Walid. I got my medical done from Tahhan and my third line was updated within a week from the date of my medical examination.
Good luck

Also please can you let me know how to update the excel sheet as I am able to only view the file and unable to make any updates.

You can submit your passport to Cairo Visa office ... if you are on a vacation there , just make sure how long would it take to get it back ... i think Cairo is much faster than others

Thanks cknouman and shb for your valuable suggestion now govt has declared eid holidays so Dr. Tahan is also unavaible till july 26.

I knew my visa officer in june this year when he asked PCC. Further i applied from Oman and by nationality PK. I applied with my family.

Hello all,

I'm new here and have only just found this forum. I am a December applicant and awaiting my MR. My son's passport runs out in March 2016. Do you think I need to renew it now, or wait and see if CIC request it?

Thanks.

Hi Marsanthius

I suggest you renew, as LVO (or your visa office) will make that request anyway.
When you do get PPR you will be advised that you have 1 year from your medical date to move to Canada or the earliest date of expiratoin on applicant passports. Meaning you reduce your time to move from 12 months to 8 months(and reducing)

Thanks. I plan to land within a month of getting visa, so the time to move wasn't an issue, but thought LVO might object to a passport expiring soon. I shall apply straight away. Do I just raise cse with the new passport details when they arrive? Thanks.

I noticed you did your medicals in Birmingham. Were they okay? I have a choice between Birmingham and Plymouth and not sure if it makes any difference or not. Thanks for your help!

Any idea why there doesn't seem to be any logical process of applications for LVO? I'm trying to figure out when my MR may come. It seems some july applicants are still waiting and some December applicants, like yourself, have received them. Seems odd to me.

Sorry for all the questions!

wow, you got PPR request super fast. very many congrats..
Pray for Us waiting since a month after MR and no sign of PPR yet.
i have one question to ask: my ECAS status is being updated in weird manner, i have no 2nd line updated in it its direct TLU 'medical results have been received', is this what's causing delay in PPR? i have asked this quite a few times on this forum but nobody exactly knows the answer to it.
Thanks guys
