Thanks Dude,

When do you plan to plan to land in Canada and where. Secondly, is the decision made like the visa being issued online.

In my case my 4th line was updated on June 5th and PPR came on June 12th, so it took a week. Good luck!

Hey Friend. Thanks a lot for your kind reply. Yes the fourth line got updated after 2 weeks of medical being completed. I can see your timeline and hope you get the PPR soon. When they say the decision has been made is it that the visa is issued online and then they ask for the physical passport for stamping? Any idea.

Where do you plan to land in Canada?

Regards,
Thank you so much for the wishes as i am now eagerly waiting for passport request..
yes they ask for passports to stamp them.
i have mentioned Toronto as an intended destination in my form so i guess i will have to collect my PR card from Toronto. i am keen on Vancouver and Calgary haven't decided one exactly.

Mine was delivered on 2nd june...however in the email it was specified that visa shall be issued within 10 working days..(which happens to end today) so not sure how much more will i have to wait

Any June-2014 applicant other than me waiting for MR ?

Plan to land in Toronto in mid-July, assuming we get our passports back in 2-3 weeks. It will be a short trip though. Actual relocation planned for next year.

I think "decision made" means their review is complete, and there will be no further info/doc requests, and they're satisfied with medicals and background/security checks. The visa stamping is administrative, but can take few days to few weeks depending on the visa office.

Hi all... I wanted to know how the background check is usually done by LVO regarding your employment. Do they contact your previous employer (if so, by phone/ email?)? Those who have already gone through this process, it would be great if you could advice.

Even I have mentioned Toronto in my application however, I am doing some research on which city to settle and quite in favour of Edmonton and Vancouver. I plan to settle permanently therefore, considering various options. Are you planning to move permanently and which profession you plan to pursue your career.

Kindly keep updated when you receive your PPR as this would give me some relief:)

Thanks and Regards.

Good News guys I thought London Visa office were sleeping ;D ;D ;D
I got my Medical Forms yesterday 16-Jun-2015 !!!!!!

My file was received last 17-Nov-2015 ;) ;) ;)

I'm soooo happy I did not actually expect it to come this soon but thank God it did!!!!!!

Thank You Lord for the blessings !!!!!!!!!!!!

To all guys who submitted earlier than me, don't loose hope... you will get it soon!!!!!!! Good luck to us all !!!!!!!! :) :) :)

In my case they did not contact my employer, but here is what I have read in the forums about others' experiences.

They sometimes contact your employer, but it is rare. Your employment letters should have full contact information, and those who have been contacted, it was typically over phone. I have also heard of cases where they check your linkedin profile, and may ask clarifications if there are any inconsistencies. If you are senior enough in your organization, they may check the company website to see if your job title matches.

Hi All

Apologies for the lack of response on this forum but I have been away for 5 days so playing catch up.

We received good news on 08/06/15 as we had our medical requests and they have been booked in for 26/06/15 so please wish me and my family luck for this stage of our application.

It's good to get back into the forum and hear the good news carry on.

Hi all,

Me and my wife completed our medical about three weeks ago. My wife underwent all medical examinations except x-ray since she is pregnant and would complete the x-ray at a later date. I received email from LVO a few days ago about adding the new baby and conducting the baby's medical within 45 days of birth. Does that mean that they have received our medicals and they have been uploaded into the system? I am a bit concerned whether they received our medicals or not. Should I email them regarding the issue? Please guide. Thanks.

Best regards,

Hi Hal

As well as checking your ECAS status there is no harm or malice in checking again with an email just to confirm. For the sake of getting something so important right I think you should email them for assurance and clarity.

Although to me it seems more like a note to ensure that you make it happen rather than them not recieving your medicals. It's 2 seperate issues for LVO.
