Kindly suggest wait time of MR+PCC as per below timelines:-

PER 27-01-2015
NOC 1114
VO LVO

Dear my time lines are almost same as yours. Now a days, LVO is taking 4-6 months after PER for further processing and MR as due to huge pressure of applications.

Please can someone just tell us why September applicants are giving less priority to October applicants. Majority of the September applicants are anxiously waiting for their MR while October applicants are even receiving PPR already. I actually do not seems to understand what is going at LVO.Your inputs please.

Only visa officers can reply your query ... No one has any clue on how they work... Thats is why spread sheet data is just useless for lvo...

I am Applicant of 6th June 2014, got PER on 17/10/14, waited so long then finally received Medical request on 28th April 2015, but the email does not say any thing about PCC and RPRF. We completed our Medicals on 05/05/15. Now shall I wait for the email from LVO to submit PCC and RPRF or I will get the PCC and submit it and pay RPRF.

JUST WORRIED WHY LVO DINT ASK FOR ALL 3 THINGS TOGETHER WHICH THEY USUALLY DO WITH ALL.

When was ur 2nd line updated? Its better to send them before they ask

Its better to send them PCC before they ask and I would also pay fees as well.

do you know who is your VO? you will find out initials from e-mail you received for your MR.

Sorry all friends for last couple of weeks I was not using the Forum as I was busy to pack up everything from Oman.


I want to share a very good news with all of you that I have received my passports with visa stamp and COPR.

I am very thank full to all members who are helping each other and sharing all experiences with forum mates.

Hello. There is absolutely nothing to worry. I also got the same email and so did others. I did medicals on 06/05/2015. I am expecting PCC + RPRF + Updated forms request by 15th of this month (as per the trend) so you should also expect the same. Keep your pcc ready. No need to send it now.

Is their any paper work we require from here before we leave Oman. I have heard we need a letter from some where which proves we have more than two years experience of driving. Any idea who will give it or from where to get it?

Does anybody have any idea on how to apply for Police Certificates from Oman (Muscat)? I had stayed in Muscat from 2003-2005 and currently based in Kuwait.

Please if someone can guide me on the process of acquiring a PCC from Muscat for ex-residents. I have checked and aware of what's written on the the CIC website. I just need some personal advice if anybody have applied PCC from Muscat lately and familiar with the process.

Hi cknouman bro, I can see from your timeline that your medical was done on 9-Apr-2015. Have you got a 3rd line update or any further communication after yours medical? My medical was done on 24th Apr, 2015 but there is no 3rd line update or any communication since then. When should I expect PPR??

My third line was updated on 16-Apr-2015. So hope fully within a week to 10 days after medical your 3rd line will be updated. Plus in addition to MR, LVO had also requested for PCCs and copy of passport bio pages from me which they received on 23-Apr-2015 and since then I am waiting for PPR. I would assume within 3 to 4 weeks after your third line update you will get PPR. Good luck
