At last, I received MR on Friday 10 April. What LVO can still ask for afterwards? I never submitted the police certificates from my home country; will they ask for it after MR results?

Can they still ask for bank statement on a later stage?

Waalaikum Salaam, bro as per current trend it is taking more than 100 days to get MR after PER, maximum is 120 days as per spread sheet and with passage of time this duration is increasing so you should not expect further update atleast 40-50 days more....exceptions are always there and you could be lucky if you get response from VO earlier.

In my case, i got MR after after 180 days

i will update the spreadsheet today. Anyway, it took 180 days from PER to MR. PER was 14 October.

They Can ask you for PCC and also bank statement if you have not submitted along with your application. If you have submitted the bank statement along with you application then mostly they don't ask it again until you add some applicant to your application for PR in later stage. But always expect additional documents request from Visa Office until visa stamped or your application is approved.

No bank can provide your account details to anyone, its highly confidential. If LVO had a doubt, they might ask u for a latest bank statement.

They never call banks, and banks cannot disclose your account details,

Just to clear the picture, my bank manager told that there were cases where information regarding current amount verification was taken from bank head office. So it can be a possibility better to mantain the account

Hi to all,

Just want to know if during the background check, the VO (LVO) will call the bank to verify for my proof of funds? i submitted only bank certificate in my initial application package. But now the remaining balance of my funds is only 60%.

Please advise if it is just fine.

yes you are right, it is better to maintain , because we cannot land unless we got the funds.. but any third party cannot take information of bank accounts, it can be done via FIA, FBR or MOI etc. means the government offices may request officially the head office to provide.. which is not a common practice.

Yeah u r right not a common practice but maybe they do when they have doubts

"We have started processing your application on 8th April 2015".

Instead of being happy, im a bit tensed now as the update looks abnormal for LVO case.
Any hope please.

Congrats Dear, your timeline plz.....you just need to relax as second line is not updated when VO starts working on your file but it is updated once most of things have been done and as per trend you will have MR very soon...Timeline ...

First Line: File Received
Second Line: Processing started
Third Line: MR update
Fourth Line: DM

so the trend is normal.. there is no abnormality. Only thing is might be your visa officer is slow... in the upcoming 2 weeks you might receive request for additional documents or directly MR

be patient
