it also means your visa offr is MCH.
 
Hello all senior members,

I have a question regarding a link of medical expiry date and visa date on passport.

One of my friend got visa stamped from LVO and the expiry date on passport is Dec2015

my friend did his medical 1 year before in Sep2014, we all know that that visa expiry is 1 year from the date of medical or passport expiry date which ever comes first.

Now the question is can he travel in Nov2015 i.e 1 month prior from his visa expiry date
OR
He has to travel in Sep2015 before his actual medical expiry date?

Will his landing be detained on immigration desk due to his medical are expired when entering Canada?

Do the officer check his medical or if his medical date also appears on the immigration counter?

Did any member faced this situation before?


An urgent and experienced advice is needed
 
is it possible to call london visa office and ask for the points they have calculated for my application. My calculation was 73 , maybe they have not considered some points and given me lower. Want to know as i am in a plan to remove my spouse and she has 5 points

He MUST travel BEFORE his visa expires. Visa expiry is one year after medical. I assume his visa expiry is Sept 2015 because his medicals was on Sept 2014? Therefore, he must travel before Sept 2015.

The expiry date of his visa will be on the visa itself.. Please have a look at his passport and COPR..he can travel on the last valid day.. but if the flight gets delayed or he misses a connection, last day travel becomes risky..

If the visa expiry considered sep2015 then why the VO stamped the visa till Dec2015 ?

this is why he is confused.

I think but not sure that he can travel till the visa date that is Dec2015
 
Any member from Pakistan who sent their passports in january 2015 to Islamabad Visa office ? and when did they receive back their passports with Visa from Islamabad Visa office ? plz update

Yes your are correct.. but no one answered me ...does that means that background checks finished and no interview so far. also when would i expect to have my medical....please advise all who can answer please

Since he has a visa, indicating that it is valid till xxth Dec 2015, then it is safe to assume that that is the situation.

If I may ask, he had is medical in Sept,
- When was the result completed or uploaded to CIC?
- Was there any delay between completion and upload?
- Any follow up test etc for PA or any other dependants on the application?

If any of the questions above has a yes, then this could have moved the system recognized completion date of the medical, just taking a guess as to why a Sept medical will have a visa validity till Dec

However, your friend can remove all doubts by sending a CSE to his VO with this specifics and whatever reply he gets by e-mail becomes an added tool and evidence against CIC in the event he tries to land in Dec 2015 and the CBSA officer thinks otherwise.

Was the DATE of the medical request 12th Sep ?
Was the DATE of medical done 12th Sep ?
Was the DATE of the medical uploaded on eCas 12th Sep ?
 
my friend got MR from LVO.his application receive date is 31 July and PER date is 25 november.applied from pakistan
he got MR on 27 Feb
