They normally take approx 10 days to return passport so plan accordingly dont get stucked here in uae. Better post them

Dear....I can see you have mentioned AOR date, was it actually AOR or additional documents requirement bcz LVO do not usually send AOR.

My Meds were uploaded on 20th February, got 3rd line on 23rd Feb. It took only 1 day for me.

Documents I sent to LVO were received and signed for by Tony.

Has anyone had him receive documents before?

On previous occasion, they were signed by Alfons. Tony seems to be the new guy!

i ve the same question bro, i live in Buraimi, Oman. it will just take me 2 hours from my home to drive to Abu Dhabi.....

As per PPR email, VO takes 10 working days for stamping and return passports using Aramex, you are required to provide return labels.
Passports can be delivered to VO either in person or courier.

I think it's good sign and you should update it with your new info and revert it back...kindly what's your visa offiveoofficer initials which apear in your received email.

Yes.. it is possible to submit in person at the Abu Dhabi office. the ppr request also says as option 2:

"Submit your passport(s) and photographs in person at the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The Embassy is located at 10th floor Abu Dhabi Trade Towers (Abu Dhabi Mall) – West Tower next to Beach Rotana Hotel. Please note that we are only open to the public on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Your passport(s) will be returned by Aramex courier at your expense.
NOTE: You will be asked to complete a return airway bill from Aramex or a self-addressed C4 or C5 envelope. These must include your complete name, physical address (no PO Box), and phone number (country code + area code + phone number)."

As you can see above, the passports can only be returned by Aramex courier and you cannot collect the stamped passports in person.

I am also a July 2014 applicant from Pakistan (Visa Office: London). Received PER in Nov which was within expected/normal time like everybody else. After that no response. No 2nd line update and no Medical Request. Applicants at New Delhi Visa Office are receiving their MRs and even Passport Requests where as we Pakistanis are sitting there waiting. I have the same question as you ... Is there any July 2014 applicant from Pakistan (with London as Visa Office) who has got beyond PER?

In my case (see post above) no 2nd line update so far. Just 1st line saying we received your application on 11th July, 2014
